Ingredients:

  • 1 cup roasted gram (chana dal)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup ghee (clarified butter)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder

Instructions:

  1. Grind Roasted Gram:

    • Grind the roasted gram into a fine powder using a mixer grinder. Sift to ensure there are no coarse pieces.
  2. Prepare the Mixture:

    • In a mixing bowl, combine the roasted gram powder, powdered sugar, and cardamom powder. Mix well.
  3. Add Ghee:

    • Heat the ghee until it melts. Add the hot ghee to the mixture little by little, mixing continuously, until it reaches a consistency where you can form balls. You may not need all the ghee.
  4. Form Laddus:

    • Take a small amount of the mixture and shape it into round balls using your hands. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
  5. Store:

    • Once cooled, store the laddus in an airtight container.
